Hurricane Ike

Just wanted to let everyone know that we are fine. We have no power and our cell phones are not working very well. Today was the first day I could get signal at all that was not roaming. Occassionally we can get a text so you can get us by that if you need to and we can check our email in the evenings when we run the generator. Hopefully we will have power when we return from California but they have said it could be weeks until the systems are rebuilt. Please pray that it is sooner than that. I had to drive 40 miles to meet my cousins where they brought us supplies and gas for the generator. They are so wonderful to do that for us. So just wanted to let you all know that we are ok. We had no damage to the house which is wonderful. Just lots of big limbs and debris everywhere. We are just having one long campout :(
